K.M. D'Bora is a solid and spacious 80-foot timber vessel running surf charters in the Mentawai Islands. Long time Mentawai charter operators Chris "Scuzz" Scurrah and Tom Plummer have teamed with respected Padang chandlery owner Charlie Josal to create this unique vessel with all the modern amenities, but with a decidedly local Indonesian architecture and flare. With over 25 years combined experience in the Mentawais, they've pooled the best possible crew with onboard Western surf guide Joey Melroy, and will traverse the length and breadth of the Mentawai Islands to get you your fill of waves, and then some.

2009 Schedule

The 2009 rate for the standard 12-night trip is $2,300usd. However, the preferred length of trip is 14 nights/13 days. This length of trip really allows you to explore the Mentawais and get the full experience.
